Disciplining your child is one of the hardest things to do as a parent. When you remember discipline is a form of love and guidance, it becomes easier. The root word of discipline is "disciple" which means to follow or learn from.
Here are some guidelines:
Set reasonable limits for your child and stick to them. All children must know the boundaries to stay within, such as what time to go to bed or how much TV to watch.
Stick to a routine. Being as consistent as possible helps the child know what to expect.
They are children. When you remember how old they are and how much they need your guidance, it makes it easier to parent your child. Use the skills they are strong in to build their confidence.
